| 2 suspects held in Udhampur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 2: Security forces have arrested two people, suspected to be militants, on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Chenani in Udhampur district.
Based on specific information, the CRPF troops intercepted a bus on its way from Srinagar to Jammu near Chenani and held two persons. They have been identified as Nissar Ahmed Sheikh, resident of Bijrani, Doda and Bashir Ahmed, resident of Koti, Doda, police sources said
The sources said the persons arrested were suspected to be militants. The matter was under investigation, they added. |
