| Watch movement of children at Pahalgam: DM’s plea to parents | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
ANANTNAG, June 3:
District Magistrate, Anantnag, Kifayat Hussain Rizvi has advised parents not to allow their children to move around Lidder banks in Pahalgam, reminding that several unfortunate incidents have occurred due to carelessness of some parents.
The District Magistrate appealed the parents to exercise caution and watch the movement of their children closely while showing them round at the picturesque tourist resort. He said any minor negligence in this regard could lead to a major tragedy.
Meanwhile, he appealed adventure lovers desirous to enjoy water flow of Lidder to remain watchful in their activities. He also urged the families and picnickers to cooperate with the district administration in keeping Pahalgam clean and free from polythene menace.
