Ltd recently conducted an informative seminar on “Accounting as a Career option” which highlighted the fact that “How Accountancy can be seen as a great career opportunity”. The Seminar was conducted at K.C. Public school by C.A. Ravi Kumar Gupta which witnessed the footfall of more than 100 students.
According to Gupta, “It is a worldwide fact that Accountancy has become the need of the hour in today’s time. The demand for accounting professionals has always been on a high and one sector that has been least affected by the economic slowdown has been the accounting sector. To add to this, Industry reports on jobs for accounting professionals have indicated a very high demand for those who have conceptual knowledge of accounting coupled with hands on experience of computerized accounting packages.”
Gupta also shared his thoughts on the latest & upcoming trends in the industry.
Topics like basic computer operations, understanding of accounting principles are essential to ensure that students develop a thorough foundation for computerized accounting practices along with relevant topics like, taxes, laws and auditing etc.
By doing an accountancy course an individual gets himself prepared to work as a Tax Consultant, Internal Auditor, Process Associate or Accounts Executive & through experience one can see himself as Accounts manager & in other high level positions.
