| Jan lays foundation stone of examination centre | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 3:
MLA Poonch Ajaz Jan today conducted a tour of the city in his constituency to access the miseries of people. The MLA while interacting with the general masses passed direction to Department of PHE and Food and Supplies for maintaining regular supply of ration and drinking water to the people.
During his visit he laid foundation stone of Examination Hall at Boys Higher Secondary School Poonch. The building is to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 25 lakh.
Reiterating the government's commitment to upgrade and strengthen the education institutions in the state, Jan said that the Examination Hall at Boys Higher Secondary School Poonch, would be constructed on a modern pattern.
To ensure accountability of the Staff serving the different government education institutions in the (Haveli) Poonch, the MLA said that professional audit is being conducted according to their performance report.
Jan concluded the function expressing his sincere gratitude to various line departments and administration of Poonch for discharge of their official duties.
