| BJP Mahila wing leader joins PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 3:
Lambasting present National Conference led coalition regime for its indifferent attitude towards emergent problems being faced by the masses, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today said that PDP is the only party which is committed to the cause of the common masses.
Addressing a function to welcome senior BJP leaders who joined PDP at Mohalla Afgana, senior PDP leader and former MLC Ved Mahajan said that their party would effectively highlighting day today problems of the masses.
Welcoming those who have joined the party under the leadership of Renu Sharma, prominent Mahila wing leader and Parshotam Sharma, BJP youth wing leader, Mahajan assured the gathering that party would effectively take up peoples’ issue to corner the government. He cautioned the people against vicious campaign launched by some vested interests against PDP. He said that Mufti Mohammad Sayeed as Chief Minister of the State had treated all region equally and had set an example of good governance.
Without naming BJP who said that those claiming to be well wishers of the people of Jammu region have exposed before the masses through their misdeeds.
Prominent among others BJP workers who joined PDP included Jeet Singh, Paramjeet Singh, Munish Sharma, Rattan Singh, Rakesh Sharma and others. Raju Sharma, president of ward number 10 of Congress also joined PDP. Senior PDP leader Sohit Sharma and Atul Gupta were also present on the occasion. |
