Kashyap Rajput Sabha demands 27% reservartion | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 3: All J&K Kashyap Rajput Sabha, Jammu has strongly condemned the attitude of government, who is not interested to provide 27 percent reservation to the OBC people, which is their constitutional right. In a meeting of the Sabha held under the chairmanship of Rakesh Kumar, the members said that denial of reservation is a violation of Supreme Court ruling. Rattan Lal, acting president of the sabha spoke in the meeting that if the Government fails to fulfil OBC people’s genuine demands then they have no other option to agitate against the Government and come on roads along with the children. Rattan Lal demanded that government should concede to their demands before Municipal Corporation/Local Bodies elections otherwise OBC people will not cast their vote to the ruling coalition through out the State. Tilak Raj, Secretary of the Sabha demanded that the OBC certificate should be issued on the caste basis instead of OSc. In the meeting, Sabha announce that the funds will be provided to the Janipur unit for construction of Janipur Sabha. |
