| Friends Club- India honoured two renowned sons of soil | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 3:
The Friends Club- India honoured D. Shakti Gupta, Medical Superintendent, AIIMS, New Delhi and Anil Anand, a senior journalist, for being elected as Vice President of the Press Club of India, New Delhi.
Shakti Gupta hailing from Mendhar town of Poonch District has done proud to Jammu by his exemplary service to the patients across the country by serving in a premier medical institution like AIIMS. Similarly Anil Anand a resident of old Jammu city has earned a reputation for his fearless, objective and truthful carrer in journalism and his election as the Vice President of the Press Club of India, New Delhi.
The Chairman of the Friends Club- India and former legislator Ashok Sharma lauded the contribution of both Dr. Shakti Gupta and Anil Anand in their respective fields. He hoped that many others would draw inspiration from their achievements.
Dr. Shakti Gupta and Anil Anand were honoured by presenting them Shawl and Bukkas at a well attended function held at Hotel Ashok, Jammu.
