| WCC Blues, Forest XI win in Molvi Masood Cricekt | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, June 03: In the ongoing Molvi Masood Cricket Tournament, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), WCC Blues trounced PCC Batamalo by 15 runs to advance in the next round at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here today.
Earlier, after PCC Batalmalo won the toss and opted to field. WCC Blues batting first made 178 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Irfan made 39 runs while Shahnawaz and Irfan Khanday contributed 24 runs each. From PCC Batamalo, Javaid took three wickets and Sajid bagged one.
In reply, PCC Batamalo bundled out on 164 runs. Ahsan contributed 52 and Omar added 25 runs. From WCC Blues, Kifayat claimed four wickets.
Meanwhile, in another match of the day, Forest XI won by 100 runs. Earlier, after winning the toss, Forest XI made 225 runs losing six wickets. Aslam was top scorer with 69 runs while Basharat added 62. From ICC Blues, Abdul Rauf took three wickets.
Later, KCC Blues bundled out for 125 runs with Feroz being highest run getter. He made 62 runs while Imran made 21. From Forest team, Nazir, Manzoor and Mubashir shared three wickets each.
