| Over 100 deputations, 274 individuals sought CM’s word for grievances redressal | | | Jammu, Nov 22 As many as 101 deputations and 274 individuals from various parts of the valley have approached Chief Minister’s Private Office functioning at Srinagar during last week to seek CM’s word for redressal of grievances and registration of development demands. This was stated by Additional Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Ajaz Ahmed Kakroo while giving details of the actions taken with regard to the petitions preferred by the deputations. The deputations included Welfare Committee Rawalpora requesting for construction of road, residents of Old Channapora, demanding construction of drainage Sudhar Committee Drabgam, Pulwama requesting for establishment of Tehsil Headquarter at Drabgam, Awami Welfare Forum, Sherabad, Pattan, Baramulla demanding stoppage of extraction of building material from local Nallas, All J&K pasmanda Tabkajat Committee demanding privileges at par with other backward communities, delegation of J&K Low Paid Government Employees Federation and Public Sectors demanding release of COLA and making the job of Employees of JKTDC Pensionable, Falah-e-Aam Trust Teachers and Class-IV Employees demanding regularization from the date they have joined in Education Department, residents of Halmatpora, Kupwara demanding construction of road land Coordination Committee, Housing Colony, Bemina demanding allotment o land for Graveyard. The issues have been sent to the concerned quarters for speedy and appropriate disposal and action taken reports sought for the perusal of the Chief Minister.
