LIC introduces Jeevan Arogya | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu : The LIC of India on June 1 has launched a new non-linked health insurance plan, `Jeevan Arogya', offering comprehensive hospitalization benefits for the whole family of the person insured. The plan offers comprehensive hospitalisation benefits for the whole family of the principal insured. It also offers to cover the parents-in-law of the principal insured besides spouse, minor children and parents. There is a provision for inducting additional members or removal of existing members in case of any change in family circumstances of the principal insured. The benefits are payable regardless of the life insured getting reimbursement under any other scheme from his/her employer or any other insurance company, on the basis of certified photocopies of the original bills. Speaking on the occasion, Sr Divsional Manager Srinagar Division , Balwant Singh told that the minimum entry age for the plan is 18 while maximum is 65 years. For parents and in-laws, the maximum age is 75 years while for children the minimum entry age is 91 days and maximum 17 years. The plan provides continuous health cover of major family members up to the age of 80 and for minors up to 25 years.
