Successive govts failed to bring back KPs: Bhan | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, June 4 (KNS): Noted Supreme Court lawyer and senior Congress leader, Ashok Bhan, Saturday said that elected governments since 1996 in Jammu and Kashmir have failed to create conducive atmospherics for the return of Kashmiri Pandits back to the Valley. “All the successive governments failed the Pandit community by a policy of deliberate exclusion to appease the radical and fundamental elements in the Valley,resulting in effect the demographic change and radicalization of socio-political culture in the Valley in particular,” Bhan alleged in a statement. Speaking to a gathering of Congress lawyers assembled to felicitate K.CKoushikwho was recently elected as Secretary Supreme Court Bar Association,Bhan, said,“The Valley is crown of secular India and exiled Pandit Community is integral part of plural Kashmir,without which peace shall always elude. All the stake holders shall strive collectively to restore the pluralist ethos in the Valley and sincerely make honest efforts to bring back Pandits.”
