| Shoaib Lone conducts tour of various areas of Sangrama | | | Early Times Report
SANGRAMA, June 4: Former MLA Sangrama and president Pradesh Youth Congress Shoaib Nabi Lone conducted an extensive tour of different areas of Sangrama constituency.
During his tour Lone addressed people and listened their grievances. At Trangurd Lone addressed a gathering of newly elected sarpanches/panches.
While speaking on the occasion, Lone impressed upon sarpanches/panches to carry out the developmental works in their respective Panchayats as public has entrusted responsibility upon them.
He also asked them to project the difficulties of the villages before the proper forum, identify well deserved persons for benefits of various central sponsored schemes.
He further said that Panchayati Raj is the brainchild of the visionary leader, Lt. Rajiv Gandhiji and the need of the hour is to transform the dream of the great leader into reality by delegating powers to the Panchayats at gross root level.
He assured full co-operation and backing to the elected representatives of the Panchyats in projecting their genuine demands before the government. Elected sarpanches, panches assured the PYC president full confidence in his leadership and said that they would leave no stone unturned in resolving the problems of their respective Panchayats.
