March for re-organization of J&K starts from Palanwala | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 4: Several senior leaders and office bearers of JKNPP led by Professor Bhim Singh launched an aggressive long march from Palanwala bordering LOC along Chhamb to Samba district covering over 200 km area in Jammu and Samba districts to awaken the people of Jammu and Kashmir in particular and that of the country in general on the need of ‘Re-organization’ of J&K. This is a five day long march with the banner of Re-organization on the basis of regional, geographical and cultural identity of Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu. Addressing several meetings on the first day in Palanwala, Khour, Jourian and Akhnoor, Prof. Bhim Singh Chief of the Panthers Party and other senior leaders called on the people particularly the youth to take up the movement for the Re-organization of the J&K to end all forms of regional discrimination may it be delimitation of the constituencies, opening Jammu Central University, providing equitable relief to the Jammu Migrants, recruitment of educated unemployed youth in Jammu region, allotment of funds to each region, establishment of secretariat assemblies, allotment of the separate Budget and independent administrative authorities to each region. He be strongly advocated for separate Assemblies, Separate Budget, Separate Recruitment, and Separate Chief Ministers for each region. Panthers Party felicitated the newly elected Sarpanches and Panches in Khour and Akhnoor Blocks. The Re-organization march shall continue in March and Domana blocks on June 5, 2011, Vijaypur and Samba blocks on June 6, 2011 and Suchetgarh and R.S. Pura on June7, 2011.
