| Poppy straw recovered from Qualis | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 04: Over 50 kilograms of poppy straw was today recovered by police from a Qualis vehicle which was parked by the roadside at Digdol in Ramban.
The recovery was made on a tip-off by police from the Qualis (HP69/1216) parked at Digdol, police sources said.Its driver could not be arrested as he was not found in it, the
sources added.Sources said the consignment and the vehicle were seized and taken to Ramban police station.A hunt was on to apprehend the escaped driver. |
