JAMMU, June 04: Four of the six cueists qualify for the second round of the senior snooker event had close contests in the ongoing 21st State Billiards and Snooker Championship at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
However, two others, Ishuk Choudhary and Rajat Khana had easy wins against their opponents making it straight frame wins.
Earlier, Aditya Sharma, Nitin Sharma, Pankaj Sharma and Lakshya Aggarwal had tough time against their opponents before they emerged winners 3-2 in best of five game.
Today’s matches were officiated by markers, Rakesh Sharma and Surjeet Singh Baloria.
