| ADGP Ram Lubhaya reviews Civil Defence preparation | | Amarnath Yatra-2011 | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 4:
To review the arrangements for Amar Nath Yatra, commencing from June 29, a meeting of Civil Defence Wardens was organized at Guest house PWD Samba under the chairmanship of Dr Ram Lubhaya, Addl Director General of Police HG/CD & Aux. Police J&K.
Besides other Civil Defence activities like providing first aid, rescue and facilitating yatries and Civil Defence related activities in district Samba.
Sham Lal Sharma, IPS DIG HG/CD & Aux Police Jammu, Mubarak Singh, Dy Commissioner-cum Controller Civil Defence Samba and Parveen Singh, Dy S P Dy. Controller CD Samba, besides number of Civil Defence wardens/ volunteers including Dharmvir Singh, Chief Warden and Sanjay Gupta, Dy Chief Warden were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ram Lubhaya, Police J&K directed the Civil Defence Warden services to remain extra vigilant and they shall assist the local Police in order to make the yatra more successful in which a large number of pilgrims from all over the India are coming for darshan of Holy Cave.
Further, he stressed the Civil Defence Wardens / volunteers to carry out awareness camp in order to make the organization strong.
