| Delegation of Rajput Sabha called on President, projected demands of the state | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 4: A delegation of Amar Khastriya Rajput Sabha J & K called on Pritiba Devi Singh Patel, President of India at Rashtrpati Bahavan, New Delhi.
The delegation comprising of Narian Singh, President of Sabha and Hari Singh Chib Senior Congress Leader and Chairman PCC Labour Cell Jammu and Kashmir projected the demands of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and difficulties faced by the Rajput community in various spheres of life.
The delegation submitted a memorandum of demands, to which her Excellency responded very warmly and promised to give a kind consideration to their point of views.
The demands included the establishment of Jammu Central University at the earliest, political and administrative delimitation as per the population ration, extension of SRO 43 in case of central government departments.
Hari Singh Chib urged the President of India to appoint a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of the central University to start with the academic session till the appointment of Vice Chancellor is made.
The delegation appealed the President to implement SRO 43 in case of paramilitary and military forces.
The delegation also highlighted the need of equal development all the three regions of the state.
