| DCC holds workers meet | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jun 5: Monthly meeting of District congress committee was organized by senior congress leader and former councillor of Municipal Council (MC) Udhampur Brij Mohan Sharma.
Meeting was held under the presidentship of Bhupinder Singh Pathania President District Congress committee. Udhampur while Udhampur-Kathua Parliament segment Member Parliament Choudhary Lal Singh was the chief guest in the meeting. A large number of Sarpanches and Panches of Udhampur district were honoured in the meeting by Choudhary Lal Singh.
Brij Mohan Sharma and Bhupinder Singh Pathania highlighted problems of Udhampur district and hoped that member Parliament shall bring these problems into the notice of higher authorities of district and state administration. Lal Singh assured that he will to convince government in Delhi and state government for full powers to Sarpanches and Panches as per panchayat act and also the provisions of honorarium to Sarpanches and Panches.
Meeting was also addressed by Geeta Devi, Shanker Dass Sadotra, Sham Lal Samnotra, Girdhari Lal Basnmotra, Tarro Devi, Ashwani Khajuria, Anant Ram Darahi, Ramesh Sadotra, Raj Sharma, Bodh Raj, Hans Raj, Jag Mohan, B.D. Sarishta, Ku;ldeep Singh, Mohan Lal, Sohan Lal, Raghuveer Singh, Gutam Kumar, Subash Chander, Sumit Mangotra, Sudesh Khajuria, S.Lal Singh and Inayatulla Mini.
