Support’ for Yoga Guru from unexpected quarters | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 5:- Though Baba Ram Dev’s forced eviction from Ram Lila Ground, New Delhi evoked a massive public outrage; Chief Minister Omar Abdullah too joining in expressing his displeasure came like a big surprise for many as he had remarked that Baba Ramdev’s demands were unrealistic. Congress may have opened all its fronts to corner the architects of Baba Ramdev's fast against corruption at Ram Lila Grounds in Delhi after evicting him along with his supporters in the wee hours of Sunday but the state Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is not happy with the crackdown.Sharing his anger on the microblogging social networking site Omar Sunday tweeted,"If the whole purpose of last night's police action was a quick and quiet end to the drama the drawing board needs revisiting".Omar also shared his thoughts on the subject and further wrote, "Corruption in public life is a huge issue but can't be tackled in isolation. Gotta look at party financing and how parties fight elections too." On the question of ongoing tussle between the two mainstream national political parties Omar tweeted, "Its far too simplistic to suggest one party is in favour of corruption and another of rooting it out. This is just opportunistic opposition".
