Fake SVO official remanded to police custody | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 5: A fake official of state vigilance organisation (SVO), who was arrested at Kishtwar yesterday, has been remanded to eight days police custody. Sajjad Ahmad, son of Abdul Gaffar of Masjid Mohalla, Kishtwar, was Saturday arrested by police after he allegedly called up CAPD TSO, Dachchan, Mohammad Amin, posing himself as a vigilance employee. He was alleged to have demanded Rs 2 lakh from the TSO, the sources added. Sources said he was today produced before the court which remanded him to police custody for eight days. A case under sections 392 and 458 of RPC was registered against him at Kishtwar police station. |
