| Youth stabbed by unidentified persons | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu June 5: Picnic turned tragedy, when a youth was stabbed to death by three unidentified persons on the bank in Akhnoor.
Police reports said Surinder Sharma son of Girdhari Lal of Akhnoor,was enjoying party with his friends on the river bank of Chenab where some unidentified persons suddenly appeared and stabbed him usingsharp edged weapon (krich).
In the incident, police report said, the youth suffered deep wounds and died on the spot. Hearing hue and cry, locals and police rushed to the spot and they shifted the youth to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu where he was pronounced as brought dead.
A case in this regard has been registered at the concerned police station and a manhunt was launched to arrest the absconding persons
