| Work on Vikram chowk flyover in offing | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jun 6: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal today reviewed preliminary round of preparedness for taking up work on construction of proposed flyover at Vikram Chowk, at an officers meeting here.
Meeting was attended by Commissioner JMC S. C. Sawhney, Chief Engineer PDD Shenaz Goni, Additional Commissioner D. R. Sharma, SE PHE Vinod Luthra, SE PDD P. K. Puri, ACR Inderjeet Bhagat, officers from ERA and other departments.
Divisional Commissioner enquired about the progress on land acquisition, shifting of PHE, PDD utilities and other departments to facilitate the early start of construction work on the flyover. Dr. Kotwal asked various departments to work in close coordination and synergy to remove any bottleneck to avoid delay in the process of construction. He said that the project has great significance as it will ease the traffic rush on the roads of Jammu which has become a great concern for both the residents and the government.
Divisional Commissioner directed for completing the preliminary work at the earliest to pave way for early start of work on the prestigious project.
