| PDP condemns killing of civilian Mohd Afzal | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, June 6:
Peoples Democratic Party has condemned the broad day light murder of a civilian Mohd Afzal Khan hailing from pattan Baramulla in the city centre of the Srinagar today.
Strongly condemning this incident a party spokesman said it is a tragic reminder of the insecure circumstances into which Kashmir has unfortunately once again slipped. He said the “unknown gunmen” who was so far taking a heavy toll in other parts of the state seems to have arrived into the heart of the city. Seriously questioning the claims of the government that the capital city was safe against any violence, the party expressed deep sorrow at the incident and conveyed its condolences to the family of unfortunate victim.
