| JSM condemns brutal attack on Ramdev’s supporters | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 6: In joint statement leaders of Jammu State Morcha, Professor Virender Gupta, H B Khajuria, Professor Divender Sharma, Nathu Ram Gupta and Chandra Uday Sharma have strongly condemned the brutal use of force by the government that inflicted barbarism and atrocities on about lakh people staging hunger strike in Ram Lila Ground, New Delhi.
Condemning this brutal act, the speakers said that the action of the police crossed all the limits when they used brutal force on sleeping stayagrahis, not sparing ever women and children.
They added that this action of the central government speaks of its fascist mindset and it is an assault on democratic and civil rights of the people. It shows that central government which is entrenched in scandals after scandals of corruption is not serious to end the menace of corruption and black money from the country as it has its own vested interests in the continuity of present corrupt system.
JSM warns that if the government ignores the sentiments and concern of the people against black money and corruption, the people would be forced to launch a massive agitation which may turn violent, if non-violence methods fail to move the government and throw the present regime out of power.
