J&K Police Kargil distributed 20 cricket kits | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 6: J&K Police Kargil under its Civic Action Programme distributed cricket kits to 20 selected teams at District Police Lines Kargil, which includes those eight teams which qualified for the quarter finals of the Shaheed Zulfiqar Memorial Cricket Tournament 2011. On this occasion the Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan was the chief Guest. Talking on this occasion Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan said that it gives immense pleasure to be a part of such a tournament which is organized in the name of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali and thanked the J&K police for conducting tournament in the name of the Martyr. He also appreciated the role of police in maintaining peace in the society and said that these kinds of reorganizations encourage, employees to perform their duties sincerely and honestly. Kacho also stressed on the need of Public Friendly role of the police in today’s day to day life and requested the police personnel for performing their duties efficiently and sincerely. Earlier the SP Kargil Briefed about the Civic Action Programme of the J&K Police and said that under this scheme the Police has conducted a talent hunt programme “Chuna Hai Assaman”.
