| BRO project Vijayak, working in full swing in Kargil | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 6: The Project Vijayak of the Border Roads Organization is working on various Projects in full swing on National Highway 1D, in Kargil District.
The Chief Engineer Project Vijayak Kargil, Anil Kumar revealed this and said that the project is in full swing.
“In various projects like Kargil Bypass, Kargil Drass etc there were some problems of Compensation and Irrigational Canals which has been sorted this year”, says Anil Kumar.
He said that this year funds have been sanctioned for compensations and his office has already disbursed the funds to district administration for further distributionof the funds to the land lords.
“We hope that the pace of work will be double from this year”, he adds.
On the complain of dusting, by the villagers of Pashkum to Mulbek, due to the under construction road project the Chief Engineer said that he fully agrees with these grievances and regretted the inconvenience faced by the villagers.
He added that while carrying out such projects inconveniences are inevitable and urged the people to bear with them.
