| Educational tour organized for 35 students by 1 sector RR | | | Early Times Report
ANANTNAG, June 6: A group of 35 school children selected from the various areas of South Kashmir have been selected for a 13-day educational tour organized by 1 Sector RR, as part of its goodwill gesture.
Educational and motivational tour for the students, a majority of whom have never been out of their villages, was flagged off by the Brig JVSNV Prasad, Commander, Headquarters1 Rashtriya Rifles at Khanabal.
Speaking on the occasion, the officer said the objective of the tour is to educate the children about the vast cultural diversity, mutual co-existence and rapid progress made by the nation.
During their tour, these children will be visiting different sites of historical and cultural importance and other places of interest which showcase the face of modern India like Jammu, Bangalore and Wellington etc.
The students are being accompanied by one male, female teacher and Army’s team comprising of one Army Officer, One JCO and three NCOs of 1Rashtriya Rifles.
