| DB asks counsels to justify maintainability of petitions | | Cross-Voting in MLC Elections | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 6-:- In two petitions filed by one NGO as Public Interest Litigation and other filed by individual person seeking investigation in cross-voting, today a Division Bench comprising Justice JP Singh and Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar after hearing Advocate Anil Sethi for the PIL whereas AAG Gangan Basotra for the state, Advocates SK Shukla, HA Siddiqui, Inderjeet Gupta and Ajay Abrol for the respondents and Adv Aditya Gupta for the other petition whereas AAG appeared for the state, asked both the advocates to justify the maintainability of petition and directed registry to list after two days. |
