AJKLTF meets Edu Minister, raises various issues | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 6: All Jammu Kashmir Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) highlighted various demands and nature of its meeting with the Minister for School Education. The members of the association informed that the association headed by Bhushan S Verma President met Minister for School Education J&K and raised various issues and problems including regularisation of EGS Teachers, who have completed seven years of service and the earned leave shall awarded to vacation staff at the pattern of HP- Punjab and Central Govt. employees after curtailing the vacations, regularization of all promoted officers in education etc They requested all the graduate and post graduate teachers to apply for permission to undergo B Ed and other degrees through correspondence to their respective CEO's as DSEJ has shifted permission power to CEOs so that graduate and post graduate teachers get promotion in near future, They informed that the minister said that all the vacant posts of all cadres in education shall be filed up shortly to strengthen education in J&K besides minister assured that clear cut order of initial high start shall be issued shortly and the transfer policy of RET’s may be viewed seriously and every possible step will be taken shortly. Those who were present on the occasion included Maheshwar Prasad, Prem Sharma, Mohan Singh, Kavinder Verma, Kulbhushan Sharma, Parveen Sharma, Rajesh Sharma, Rekesh Magotra, Shallu Ram, Surinder Singh.
