| Display Your Talent 2006-07 | | Kuldeep Clinches top slot in Light Vocal Competition | |

Under the ongoing Display Your Talent Contest 2006-07, Light Vocal (Solo) competition was held at Jammu University here today. Kuldeep Ohja from MIER College of Education was adjudged first in the competition while Ankush Manhas from KC Law College and Awijit Singh bagged second and third prize respectively. The certificate of Merit were awarded to Rahul Kumar from Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Mukti Talwar from Dept. of Education and Sunil Bhagat from Dept. of Commerce,JU. The Auditorium was jam packed and echoed with the Hindi, Dogri, Punjabi, Gojri, Pahari songs as well as Shabads, Bhajans and Ghazals. There were forty students from the various Teaching Departments of the University and its affiliated Colleges who participated and received big applause from audience on each good performance.
The adjudicators were Dewan Virender Mohan, Praduman Singh and Prithvi Raj Sharma.
Prof N.R. Sharma, Chairman Campus Cultural Committee, Dr. P.S. Pathania, DSW, Dr. Shohaib Inayat Malik Asstt. DSW, Prof Archana Kesar , Prof Lalit Mangotra,Vijay Atri and others were also present on the occasion.
