| Property worth lakhs gutted in GMC&H | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 6: Property worth lakhs which including beds, trolleys and chairs burnt to ashes in an accidental fire that broke out in the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) here today.
The fire broke out in the corridors near the Spinal ward in GMCH around 7 pm where the scrap items, including useless bed, trollies, and chairs were dumped.
The fire and emergency services department, eyewitnesses said, pressed into services which took two hours to extinguish the fire. The reason behind the accidental fire has not been confirmed till late hours.
However, police has registered a case in this connection and is investigating the matter. |
