| 6 year old among 2 dead, 7 others injured | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 6: A woman died on spot while a 6 years old boy succumbed to injuries in head on collision that occurred between two vehicles here at Lambari area of Sunderbani tehsil. In the incident, 7 other persons received injuries and are being treated in GMC.
Incident occurred here on Monday, when a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK08A-5938 which was on its way to Poonch from Jammu collided with an Alto car (DLCAG-3966) coming from opposite direction. In the incident a 44 years old lady namely Kiran Suri wife of Rajnish Suri of Rehari died on spot.
Sources said that the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for advance treatment after administering them first aid in the sub district hospital. In GMC hospital one of the critically wounded person identified as Arif Gul (6) son of Gulshan Gul (field publicity officer, Govt of India) of Thanamandi at present Bathindi, succumbed to his injuries.
The identity of the injured in GMC hospital has been established as Meena Devi, Palak Chada, Akash Suri, Ranjeet Chada, all the residents of Rehari, Rajat wife of Gulshan Raina and Alyan daughter of Mohammed Amin, both the residents of Thanamandi tehsil of Rajouri district. |
