| Crackdown on Ramdev and citizens is rape of democracy: BVS | | | EARLY TIMES
Jammu, June 7: Terming the brutal action of the Delhi Police on innocent citizens as rape of democracy, Bhartiya Vidharthi Sena ( the youth wing of Shiv Sena) has condemned the UPA government.
In a press statement state president of BVS Vikrant Sharma has said that entire youth force of the nation is with Baba Ramdev.
He said that the issues raised by the Baba Ramdev are in larger public interest and if the black money stashed in the foreign banks is bring back to the country then it can help the nation in poverty elevation.
Vikrant said BVS fully supports the tomorrow’s Jammu Bandh in protest against the government’s brutality against the saint, innocent women, senior citizens and small children.
No civilized society, organization or individual can justify the most barbaric police action on the sleeping people there at Ram Leela Maidan in wee hours of the morning.
This is the most shameful incidence of the Indian democracy since independence. He questioned the credibility of the Congress General Secretary and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pardesh, Digvijay Singh, Vikrant said there are many corruption cases pending against him and it is very unfortunate that Digvijay Singh is leveling baseless allegations against Swami Ramdev and his aides.
Vikrant said the entire country irrespective of any religion is supporting the issues raised by Baba Ramdev and he deserved many appreciations for awakening the government and the citizens.
