| Plus 2 Lecturers’ organizes seminar on Corruption | | |
JAMMU NOV 22 All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum today organized a seminar on “Eradication of Corruption” at Dak Bungalow. More than one hundred participants from various parts of Jammu regions including Lecturers, Senior lecturers, Principals, CEOs and Joint Directors attended the seminar and discussed the rampant aspects of corruption in the society and its damaging affects in every sphere of life. The audience took keen interest in the paper presentation by Manmeet Bali, Dr. Layakat Jaffari, Dr. Bansi Lal Sharma, Manmeet Kour and Kiran Jyot Kour where a comprehensive and informative knowledge on rampant corruption was elaborated by the writers with their suggestive ideas in eradicating the menace through action plan and channels of education and awareness. Jenab Khizar Mohd. Wani, Sec. to Govt. School Education, was the chief guest on the occasion. He appreciated the efforts of the Forum for organizing such a unique type of seminar and expressed his de3sire to enhance such activities across the state. Mr. D.K. Vaid, Director School Education, was the Guest of Honour and categorically announced that he fully recognized the initiative of Forum on a very sensitive issue. H.D. Quarshi, State Chief of the Forum expressed his determination to make aware the Govt. for taking bold decisions against sensitive issues like corruption and to make true dream of Hon’ble CM for corruption free society and responsive administration. He disclosed that Forum has geared up its cadre to launch a awareness campaign on the eradication of corruption and stressed that the Govt. should not adopt a casual approach on the subject. Others who spoke on the occasion include DP Dutta, Kiran Jeet Kour, S. Gurcharn Singh, Charan Das, Dr. Ranjodh Singh Jamwal, Sunil Sharma and others.
