| Boy electrocuted at Kishtwar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, June 7:
A student of B A Part-1 died due to electrocution in the premises of under construction D C office Complex, Kishtwar while taking out water from the under-ground water tank for bathing purpose.
The deceased has been identified as Ravi Kumar son of Ashok Kumar of Dachhan Tehsil Marwah District Kishtwar.
According to police sources, the electric current passed in the water of underground tank from the nearby motor which was used by the labourers and executing agency for daily routine work.
The eye witnesses said a group of three to four boys came to the Dc Complex for bathing purpose , and Ravi Kumar was first to put the iron bucket into the water tank as a result of which he got electrocuted and died on the spot. The police as well as employees of Power Development Department Kishtwar as well as other agencies reached on spot and shifted the body in District Hospital Kishtwar for conducting autopsy. A huge number of people belonging to Dachhan area assembled in District Hospital Kishtwar, from where the body was taken to the native village of the deeased for last rites. Police have initiated inquest proceedings into the matter.
