| Crackdown on Baba Ramdev barbaric act: AJKMPJ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 7:
All J&K Movement for Peace and Justice (AJKMPJ) has described the crackdown on Yoga Guru Baba Ram Dev’s anti-graft fast as “a shameful chapter in the history of Indian democracy”.
It was a barbaric act by the police against citizens who were protesting peacefully against corruption and black money. The issues of controlling all round corruption and also of bringing Prime Minister and Chief Justice of India within the ambit of Lok Pal were also discussed.
It was unanimously resolved that All J&K Movement for Peace & Justice would lend full support to both Baba Ram Dev and Anna Hazare. These two personalities have kindled a hope in the nation that they would certainly succeed in ushering in an era of honesty. We appeal the general public that they should support whole heartedly Jammu bandh and the agitation that Anna Hazare is going to launch tomorrow. We also appeal that any other such movement by Baba Ram Dev or by Anna Hazare should also be supported fully.
