| Karan Singh, Prof Soz pay obeisance at Khir Bhavani | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, June 7 (KNS): Pradesh Congress Committee President, Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz, Tuesday urged Kashmir Pandits to return back to the Valley and assured them full protection from the majority community.
Addressing the people at the Shrine of Khir Bhavani Tulmulla in Ganderbal, Soz said, “KPs are part of our society and should return without any further delay. It is our duty to protect them. Government should develop a mechanism for their return.”
Soz who was accompanied by senior Congress leader, Dr Karan Singh later paid obeisance at the Shrine of Khir Bhavani.
The leaders joined large number of people in their performance of Puja there. The leaders felt pleased to see a large gathering of Kashmiri Pandits and Muslims at the temple and the Puja was being performed in the traditional Kashmiri way. Dr. Karan Singh was accompanied by his family member also.
Later Singh and Soz also paid obeisance at the Shrine of Mir Baba Haider Sahib.
