| Timber smuggling bid foiled, 2 held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 08: Two persons were apprehended by police at Bari Brahmana last night while trying to smuggle timber.
They were identified as Rafiq, son of Khar Mohammad, and Sani Mohammad, son of Noor Mohammad, both residents of Badori.
Police sources said they were apprehended on a tip-off while trying to smuggle in a truck (JK02AC/6902) which was also seized.
A case was registered against them at the Bari Brahmana police station.
