| CS chairs Administrative Secretaries meeting | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, JUNE 8 – Committee of Secretaries today met under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Mr. Madav Lal to discuss important issues pertaining to streamlining the functioning of the state administration and better utilization of human resources available in the departments. The Chief Secretary Mr. Madav Lal today asked the administrative secretaries to supervise overall administrative functioning in their respective departments. The Chief Secretary also called for regular administrative inspections to bring about a marked improvement in the efficiency of delivery mechanism.The meeting also discussed issues pertaining to preparation of plans, sub-plans including ST and SC sub-plans and steps to be followed in preparation of these plans.Madav Lal also asked the administrative secretaries to prioritize the important developmental concerns, especially related to employment generation and infrastructural creation.
To develop better coordination and proper response among various government agencies of the State and the Centre, the Chief Secretary underlined the importance of speedy collection and communication of the relevant information by the concerned authorities.Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister B. B Vyas, Commissioner Secretary, Finance Sudhanshu Pandey, Commissioner Secretary General Administration Department, Mohammad Syed Khan and Administrative Secretaries of other departments were present in the meeting here today.
