| Militants killed police constable in north Kashmir | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
BARAMULLA, June 8: A constable of Jammu and Kashmir police was shot dead by unidentified gunmen at Sopore in this north Kashmir town today, official sources said.
They said gunman fired upon constable Manzoor Ahmad Najar at main chowk Sopore with a pistol from very close range.
Manzoor was immediately shifted to hospital where he was declare brought dead.
The killing of constable came two days after a trader from Sopore was killed by gunmen in Srinagar. |
