| SWC condemn policies failure in arresting Chopra murder accused | | |
JAMMU | NOV 22 President, Sikh Welfare Council (SWC) S. Pritam Singh strongly condemned a press statement regarding total failure of entire J&K state police who have not been to come out with the clue in a ghastly murder of Rajinder Chopra, his wife, daughter, servant and driver in a posh colony of Trikuta Nagar, about two months back which itself speak of un-success of police is set up in J&K state, who had assured that they will book the culprits involved in the murder. He said entire public school is confused as it can happen with any one. it is very strong that the police has not been able to solve this murder which is a clear case of police failure. He said, it was pointed out that the case is being handed over to the CBI but during these 2 months nothing has come out with the result. Beside, the Govts. assurance given to the sons of the deceased has gone astray. President further appealed to the chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to approach the centre and get honest officers of CBI who can handle the matter discussed in the cabinet meeting. He said due to some political pressure on the Govt. nothing is coming out if nothing is done on these lines then all political parties shall come on roads in protest against the Govt.
