| JSM supports ‘re-organisation campaign’ of Panthers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 9:
The Jammu State Morcha (JSM) has welcomed the programme launched by Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) to aware the people about the need of the demand of re-organization of Jammu & Kashmir State.
In a meeting of JSM held under the chairmanship of its president, Prof Virender Gupta and attended among others by H B Khajuria, Prof Devender Sharma, Nathu Ram Gupta, Brig (retd) Anil Gupta and Chandra Uday Sharma, the members hailed the recent resolve of JKNPP under the leadership of its Supremo, Prof Bhim Singh to struggle for re-organization of Jammu & Kashmir State.
The new action plan of JKNPP vindicates the position taken by the Jammu State Morcha that trifurcation is the only option to resolve Jammu & Kashmir tangle, the members said.
The meeting said that it is the right time that leaders of other parties Congress and BJP (particularly, those belonging to Jammu region) realize this fact and come out to support the cause of separate Jammu State.
JSM also expects from JKNPP to be consistent in its new mission and bring some clarity in its demand so that it can easily catch the imagination of common masses, by asking for separate Jammu State and trifurcation of J&K State. |
