| KPSS supports official commencement date of Amarnath yatra | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 9:
Kashmiri Pandit Sudhar Smiti (KPSS) has fully supported the decision taken by the government with respect to the commencement of annual Amaranth Yatra, which is scheduled to start on June 29.KPSS appealed the State Govt to take stern action against those organizations and their supporters who are trying to modify the commencement date and are bent upon to start the Yatra on June 15 as this action is more politically motivated rather than the religious one. Smiti has all praise for Chief Minister, civil as well as police administration, political parties and all other government and non government organizations for providing all basic facilities and logistic support to the devotees who today visited the Mata Kheerbhawani Mandir at Tullumulla, Ganderbal.
KPSS also whole heartedly thanked the Muslim majority community for providing them all support and well coming them to this socio- religious –pluralistic centre of Kashmir and up hold traditions of Reshi Vaar (Kashmir).
