18 defaulters booked for violating PFA norms

JAMMU, NOV 22
The Health Officer Jammu Municipal Corporation alongwith team of Food Inspectors accompanied by Municipal Magistrate Ist Class Jammu conducted tour of different localities i.e Patoli, Toph Sherkahania, Pata Ploura, Talab Tillo and inspected various food establishments including meat shops, dhabas, tea stalls, fast-food sale points sweet shops etc.
During the inspection 18 defaulters were booked for violating terms and conditions of the PFA Act 1954 and a fine of Rs.4150 was realized on the spot. The establishment owners were instructed for maintains proper hygienic conditions and keeping PFA License without any further delay, failing which action shall be initiated against defaulters.
