AGPS creates history in Rajouri
Students clinched 100% marks in CBSE 10th class exam

Setting record of scoring highest percentage of marks in CBSE 10th class examination, 3 students of Army Good Will Public School have scored 100 percent marks while it has shown 100 percent overall result. Maximum toppers have pledged to become IAS officer in future while few wanted to opt for Engineering and Scientist to serve the nation.
It is pertinent to mention here that no School in Poonch and Rajouri have ever succeeded to score 100 percent marks in board examination and AGPS has become first school where students have proved their mettle by sweeping al marks in the CBSE examination.
Giving Detail Principal of AGPS said that out of a total of 69 students who appeared for the class X CBSE exam, 19 students have got A1 grade (more than 90%), including three students who have got 100% marks in all the subjects. 8 students have got A2 grade (between 80-90%), 13 students have got B1 grade (between 70-80%) and 14 have got B2 grade (between 60-70%).
Master Ajay Kochar, Master Ghayas Ud din and Miss Zarka Mirza are the toppers by scoring A1 grade in all subjects.
When contacted, Miss Zarka said that she was happy as she has lived upto her expectations and also gave full credit to her teachers of AGPS, Rajauri for guiding her throughout. She expressed her desire to become an engineer.
Master Ghayas Ud din was happy for his parents and thanked his school teachers for helping in his preparations and expressed his desire to become an IAS officer.
Master Ajay said that the recently introduced Eureka Software and Language Lab in Army Goodwill Public School have helped him in his preparation for Science, Maths and English subjects. He expressed his desire to join the Indian Army and serve the country. In addition, one out of the five students, who are from ‘Below Poverty Line’ families and financially supported for education by the Army, Miss Iram Shazadi has scored 92%, which is a great achievement in itself.
The Army Goodwill Public School is a true testimony of quality education which provides a better future for the children of the region.
The School run under the chief patron ship of General Officer in Commanding Major General Om Parkash and is controlled by Ace of Spades Division stationed at Rajouri.
