| All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retirement Employment Association meet Bhalla, | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 10: A deputation of All J&K SRTC Volunteer Retirement Employees Association under the leadership of Dev Raj Bali President VRS Union and Surinder Singh General Secretary VRS Union J&K met Raman Bhalla in Civil Secretariat Srinagar (Kashmir) and same deputation later on met with Commissioner/Secretary Labour Employment Civil Secretariat Srinagar and apprised them of their demands.
Dev Raj Bali , President of the Association said that they put their genuine demands such as pending COLA arrears and 6th pay commission pending arrears in front of the Minister and added that after giving a patience hearing to our demands Bhalla discussed with Commissioner/ Secretary(Finance) regarding the demands.
Te association members said that the minister told them that their demands are quite genuine and within few days demands will be acceded.
Deputation further said that Commissioner/Secretary Labour deputation discussed in detail regarding amount of interest and then Commissioner / Secretary discussed with the Labour Commissioner to solve this issue at the earliest.
The association said that their file is lying in the office of Commissioner/Secretary(Finance) for the last 4 months regarding pending COLA which becomes a shuttling file between the MD J&K SRTC and Commissioner/Secretary(Finance) the reasons for shuttling beyond our scope.
The deputation members said that they have warned the MD J&K SRTC and Finance Accounts Officer J&K SRTC that if within one week our dues will not be cleared we will sit on Dharna and demonstration in front of the office of the MD J&K SRTC Srinagar (Kashmir).
In the deputation Prem Singh, Surjeet Singh, D.N. Sharma, Sat Paul, Javed Iqbal and others were present.
