| JKTF to hold rally on June 14 | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 10: A meeting of the Jammu & Kashmir Teachers Forum, held under the Chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria, State General Secretary of the Forum in which a threadbare discussion was held to participate in the Rally being organized at Srinagar on June 14, 2011.
More than 500 teachers are going to attend the Rally to pressurize the state government to mitigate the long pending genuine demands which include removal of pay anomalies of Master Grade, transfer policy and enhancement of honorarium in favour of RET's, regularisation of EV's who have completed seven years of service and grant of earned leave (Cash-in-Iieu) in favour of teaching community.
The Forum warned the State government to accede the demands at the earliest to avoid the confrontation with the teachers otherwise a state-wide agitation shall be launched for which the mobilization has been started by the Forum.
The Forum appealed the teaching community to make the rally a grand success by their en mass participation.
Prominent who attended the meeting included Bhupinder Shastri, Rajinder Gupta, Gopal Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Satish Dutta, Surjeet Singh, Ganesh Sharma, Ram Paul, Digvijay Singh, Shankar Singh and many others.
