| BJP chief constitutes 2- member committee | | | JAMMU NOV 22 State BJP President Ashok Khajuria today constituted a 2- member high level committee under Daya Krishan Kotwal senior party leader and former state President to take stock of the situation arising out of the alleged land grabbing by government in the name of development of Bhaderwah town of Doda district. Jyoti Prakash Sharma would be the other member of the committee. This committee has been constituted after receiving a number of public complaints that lands belongings to Hindu temples and Shishu Samadhis (graveyards) are being grabbed by the government and the Congress led Government is harassing the members of the minority community in Bharderwah one pretext or the other, a party handout said. Khajuria has asked the committee members to personally visit the places from where the complaints have been received during the last 15 days and assess the whole situation and take up matter with the district administration. The committee has also been asked to submit it report to the party president within a week’s time. Taking serious note of the complaints, the BJP president has warned the government to desist from such practices, as the party would not watch the situation as a mute spectator.
