Ladhoo Pampore Village thronged by Jeevan Sahab devotees.

JAMMU, June 11: Ladhoo (Pampore) village Hindu Baradari association organised a religious function at Jeevan Sahib Asthapan Ladhoo where a grand Yagna was performed. The asthapan located in the lap of vasturvan hillock surrounded by asthapans of various sufi saints is blessed with scenic beauties. A renowned saint Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Satsang was the Chief Guest. While addressing a huge gathering of the devotees of Guru Maharaj Jeevan sahib he threw light on the great Kashmiri Culture and the greatness of the presence of such holy places in this sacred land of Kashmir. After puja -archana Prasad was distributed among the devotees and special prayers were held for the well being of all kashmiris.
Local Muslim Baradari welcomed the Kashmiri Pandit participants from the valley and outside the valley. Newly elected surpanchs Abdul Khaliq Dar and Gulam Mohammed Mir along with Panchs assured full support for restoration of the shrine to its prime glory and warned the land grabbers not to indulge in such activities. Mohammed Shaban, Mushtaq Ahmed (Namberdars) Abdul Majid Wani of Saffron Growers association Pampore, Nehru Yuva Kendra Youth Wing, Student Association Ladhoo and Auqaf Committee Ladhoo also welcomed the participants. Shri Bansi Lal Bhat President of Ladhoo Hindu welfare association appealed the devotees of the saint all over the globe to come forward and join the kar sewa at the asthapan where “Dhoni Sahab” and Langar building is in a very bad condition. He appealed hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Sahab and hon’ble Revenue Minister Raman Bhalla Ji to safeguard the asthapan Land from Land grabbers as some vested interests are conspiring to sell the asthapan land. Sh. Sanjay Tikoo (Sangarsh Samiti Kashmir), Sh. R.K Jyotshi, Sh. Ashok Koul, Sh. Predumman Kumar also spoke on the occasion.
Association General Secretary Sh. Ravi Bhat thanked all participants including Tehsildar, Naib tehsildar Pampore, police authorities and other Government Departments for their valuable contribution.
