Dharmarth Trust makes elaborate Sudhmahadev mela arrangements | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, June 11: Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust have made all elaborate arrangements of providing best facilities to devotees visiting the ancient Temple Shrine of Lord Shiva during the three days long Sudhmahadev Mela commencing at Chenani in Udhampur district from June 14. This was disclosed at a review meeting of concerned Mela officers of the Trust held here today under the chairmanship of president J&K Trust, Divakar Singh. It was disclosed in the meeting that all the employees of the Trust detailed on duty at the holy temple shrines of Sudhmahadevji, Gourikund and Maantalaai shall ensure presence at the respective places of their duties and make sure that devotees visiting these holy shrines do not encounter any difficulty in paying obeisance at these shrines during Mela days. They have also been advised to show courteous behaviour towards devotees. It was divulged that the Trust has recently renovated and developed a spacious accommodation in the premises of the Sudhmahadevji Temple with modern facilities and the same will be made available to devotees coming from distant places for their temporary stay on first come first served bases. Recently, Trust has constructed iron-grill wall in outer parikrama of the main temple complex of Sudhmahadevji for safety of devotees who chose to go round the Temple during their visit there. Divakar Singh disclosed that chairman Trustee Maharaja Karan Singh, who is presently camping at Srinagar in connection with Shree Mata Khir Bhawani Ji Mela and is also keen to know about the arrangements being made for Sudhmahadevji Mela, has been apprized about all the arrangements made by the Trust.
